Thirty-four years ago I became a mother for the first time. Today, I recall this day and celebrate my son’s birthday. We are countries apart, he in Canada and I am in the UK. My son, Darren, is my eldest of three children and my only son. He is a good man and was a wonderful boy. I am lucky to have him in my life, (so is his wife). In my book, Maggie’s Child, my main character gave up her child. She had no choice. The book is in the historical romance genre.
Today I celebrate my son by selling my novel, Maggie’s Child, at a reduced rate. What I thought was my weakest book has become my strongest seller and readers email me on a regular basis with wonderful compliments about the story-line. It thrills me to hear folk love Maggie. My idea of creating a saga from her life story is still on the cards, and I am jotting notes on a regular basis. Recently, a title came to me for the second book, and then a very basic plan raised its hand and shouted, ‘pick me, pick me’.
To purchase a copy of, Maggie’s Child, at its lowest price, act swiftly. I am using the sliding price system of Amazon, Countdown deals, so the price will be low, to mid-price and then back to normal, 17th FEBRUARY to 24TH FEBRUARY.
