Wishing you all a Happy New Year. I do hope you achieve your life goals during 2015. Our family awaits a new member – my second grandchild is getting ready to join this mad world and Nanny G cannot wait.
My apologies for not getting around blogs over the festive period but my computer had major issues and I could not access several accounts. Thanks to my computer guy, I am now up and running with updated software.
Whilst dealing with my problem it came to light that he has a career that I knew nothing about. He is a piper (plays bagpipes) and did so for a man famous for owning Harrods, in the UK. Yes, he was Mohammed Al Fayed’s personal piper.
Isn’t it funny how we never know the other self of folks we know?
In my Christmas Scrubs story I had a hint of that idea running through the plot.
My plans for writing during 2015 are laid out to some extent. I am not 100% certain of what I will write next but ideas are piling high.
I look forward to meeting up with Jessica Bell in February. She flies over from Athens to London for a month or so. Several author friends will be gathering for a catch up -exciting times!
November will see me roaming around The Bard’s hometown, Stratford Upon Avon. I won’t be alone, it is the Festival of Romance Fiction 2015 venue. It is a place I have never visited and to think of being there as an author is something of a thrill. I opted for this as my Christmas gift over joining the RNA New Writer’s Scheme. I have heard they are considering self-published members under a new catagory next year, so might apply for that section of the association. FoRF 2015 just won me over and I booked within a few hours.
